Panther Creek continued their road to redemption as they advance to the NCHSAA 4A Dual Team State Championship for the second consecutive year.
Panther Creek has made easy work of their opponents so far in the tournament, losing only four total sets on their way to the Championship game.
They made easy work of East Chapel Hill in the Regional Championship, sweeping them in five sets on Wednesday afternoon.
It was a road which should not have been so easy for the Catamounts, having to travel to New Hanover, Green Hope, and Cardinal Gibbons, but Panther Creek's experience combined with the pre-existing talent helped carry them to the State Championship.
They will look to improve on last years State Championship loss as they face West Regional Champions, Myers Park, on Saturday May 20th. The match will be held at the Burlington Tennis Center and will start at 9:30 am.
