My name is Wendy Kreitman and this is my 2nd season coaching at Daniels, but it is my 10th season coaching middle school volleyball. I have also coached 8 seasons of middle school softball and 3 seasons of girls' basketball. While I grew up playing softball, I love coaching volleyball! My coaching philosophy is to learn, have fun, and give it your all on the court. I look forward to a great season!
My name is Jessica Solender and this is my 3rd year teaching and coaching soccer at Daniels. I am originally from Maine, but ventured down south to attend Elon University and pursue my career as a middle school teacher. I’m very happy to be part of the Daniels tradition, and I hope my team has as much fun playing middle school soccer as I did! I’m looking forward to a great season!
My name is Christine Baker and this will be my 2nd season coaching cheerleading at Daniels Middle School. I cheered at Daniels from 2004-2006 and I am happy to accept the coaching position at my former alma mater. After Daniels, I went on to cheer four years on the varsity cheerleading squad at Broughton High School and two years at North Carolina State University (Go Pack!). I am looking forward to the upcoming season and training the team to be the best that they can be. Go Blue Jackets!
Anthony Spicer Jr.
This is my 23rd year teaching (all in WCPSS) and I have taught grades 3-6 over the course of my career. Daniels has been my school home for the last 11 years and I have been boy’s soccer coach for 8 seasons here at DMS. I have also coached CASL Challenge for U-14 boys. My love for the game of soccer began at the age of seven as I played competitive club soccer all thru my primary and middle years and then 4 years of varsity in HS. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to play D-III ball at Ripon College in Wisconsin where I was a starter for all 4 of my collegiate seasons.
