Booster Club Committees

Athletic Booster Club Committee Descriptions

Season Pass/Membership Coordinator: Handles all aspects of the season passes for the year – includes ordering, selling at beginning of each season, keeping a record of season pass holders, collecting money. Also sells ABC memberships and maintains record of all members.


Volunteer Coordinator: Coordinates volunteers with each team representative for all athletic events. This may include gate, concessions, apparel sales, etc. Creates sign-up genius for different events. May work with the PTSA to utilize their membership list too.


Fundraising Coordinator: Responsible for all fundraising activities associated with the teams. Should attend all parent pre-season meetings (fall, winter, spring) to promote ABC fundraiser.


Corporate Sponsorship: Responsible for maintaining sponsors and approaching new businesses, ordering and displaying banners, delivering season passes and invitations for sponsor appreciation event.


Website Coordinator: Manages ABC website.


PTSA Liaison: Attends PTSA and ABC meetings and serves as a link between the two organizations.


Apparel Coordinator: Handles all aspects of apparel sales for ABC, including ordering and selling of WFHS merchandise. Works with the AD and coaches to ensure adequate apparel choices.


Banquet Coordinator: Responsible for the sports banquets following fall, winter and spring seasons. Orders meals, collects money from guests, decorates, displays senior posters.


Senior Night Coordinator: Coordinates senior nights for all sports, working with the teams’ parent representatives, orders roses/gifts for parents, coordinates senior posters with photographer.


Programs Coordinator: Coordinates with AD and Scholastic Sports representative to create fall, winter and spring sports programs.


Concessions Coordinator: Handles all aspects of ordering needed supplies for concessions, ensure concessions is opened on time for all games, works closely with volunteer coordinator to ensure adequate manning of concessions.


Nominating Coordinator: Responsible for the introduction of slate of names for incoming officers and committee coordinators for presentation at the May meeting of General Membership. Works to assist with June meeting in passing out, collecting and counting ballots. (Election of officers shall be at the Annual May meetings and new incoming officers will be installed at the conclusion of the June meeting.) Handles committee duty description updates and reaches out to parent community for persons interested in serving with their talents and skills to promote ABC. Works as liaison to facilitate transfer of information from outgoing committee coordinators to new committee coordinators.


Parent Representative Coordinator: Communicates with team coaches to have a parent representative from each WFHS team as an active ABC participant, then acts as liaison between ABC and individual teams to communicate ABC needs regarding parent volunteering and team needs/desires regarding ABC funding.
