Students will be able to participate only on days when they are in school for face-to-face instruction. This means contests and games between schools will not be held. Circumstances will continue to be reviewed as conditions change. More information to come soon with details and information regarding students who are in Virtual Academy.

Coach Gilberti
This Weeks Coach, get to know...
Coach Morgan Gilberti, Cheerleading, 2nd year at Carroll
Background...
I grew up in a military family so questions like "Where did you grow up?" are often hard to answer. In short, I grew up all over the world; however, my entire family is currently living in Massachusetts so that's where I consider "home." I grew up cheering for the various different schools I attended as well as all-star teams occasionally- depending on where I was living at the time.
Why do you coach...I coach, of course to spread my enthusiasm for cheerleading, but moreover, to be a part of the growth that comes from athletics. Over my last two seasons coaching at Carroll, I saw tremendous growth from my girls as individuals, cheerleaders, and an entire team; not to mention, they taught and helped me grow just as much, if not more
What do you enjoy about Carroll Athletics...I have LOVED the perseverance, drive, and dedication from Carroll athletes. Speaking specifically about my cheerleaders, regardless of the challenging routines, intimidating stunts, and fast-paced transitions they faced, they ALWAYS pushed and encouraged each other to leave it all on the mat- and shoutout to my girls, that's exactly what they did at the end of our season.
Favorite team or athlete... Boston Red Sox
Little known fact about you...being a military kid I had the opportunity to live in Germany for three years (during high school) so I would say that was pretty cool.

FAVORITE MOMENT: When we won the basketball championship and when we beat East Millbrook in football.
HOW HAS SPORTS HELPED YOU: It gave me something to look forward to at the end of the day and motivated me to keep my grades up.
ADVICE: Be coachable.
FUTURE GOALS : I haven't decided yet.
