The boys soccer team was victorious in their game against West Millbrook on Tuesday. The team defended their home field with a 4-0 victory. The win marks their fourth straight shut out of the season. Carter Lemelin got the Dolphins on the board with two goals in the first half. The second half saw Nate Firebaugh steer home a Jack Hunter corner and Kaleb Martinez put the game away with a finish after winning the ball from two West Millbrook defenders. Once again the vaunted Dolphin defense led by William Jenkins, Edwin Fuentes, Andrew Jung, and Jacob Summers provided the coverage for goalkeeper Henry Hutchins to get the shutout. The Dolphins will look to continue their streak next Tuesday when they play Carroll away.

The boys soccer team were victorious in their match against Leesville on Tuesday. The Dolphins got three goals from Jack Hunter, two goals from Nate Firebaugh, and a goal each from Trevor Oldson and Ty Broughton. Ty’s goal was an unmarked, empty net tap in. More important than the goals, was the stellar defensive work of Liam Lashor, Andrew Jung, Edwin Fuentes, William Jenkins, and Daniel Castro-Privado who helped Durant goalkeeper Henry Hutchins secure a third straight shutout. The Dolphins next game is at home to E. Millbrook on Tuesday. Come out and support your boys soccer team.

The Dolphins continued their strong start to the season with a comprehensive 9-0 victory.  Daniel P.-O. got the Dolphins on the board early with a well-placed shot from the top of the box. Brian C. was able to put two over the goalkeeper's head while Jack H. continued his red-hot start by adding two more goals of his own. Trevor O., Nathan B.,  Carter L., and Jacob S. were all able to get their names on the score sheet before the final whistle blew.

The Dolphin will take on Leesville in their first away match of the season on Tuesday, March 19.

The boys soccer team opened their season with a 2-0 non-conference win over Heritage Middle School.  The Dolphins were quick to take control of the game but with some great build-up play but were unable to find the net early on. The deadlock was broken just a few minutes before half after Liam L. was able to find Jack H. at the top of the box. Jack took a couple of touches before lofting the ball over the goalkeeper's head. One goal would be all that the Dolphins would need due to the stellar play of the backline. Daniel P.-O. and William J. did a great job putting pressure on the Patriot wings stifling any chance of a counter-attack.  Andrew J. and Carter L. were there to break up any of the Patriot attacks through the middle of the field. Jack H. would ice the game in the closing minutes after some great footwork and a chip over the onrushing goalkeeper. The Dolphins will look to build on a strong start when they open up conference play against East Millbrook on Tuesday (3/12).
