RALEIGH, N.C. - Wake County Public Schools (WCPSS) has officially installed live streaming cameras in the stadiums and gymnasiums of all twenty-four traditional public high schools within the district. The live streaming service will provide student-athletes, coaches, and families with digital access to hundreds of football, basketball, soccer, lacrosse, volleyball and wrestling events throughout the year. Now, friends and relatives who can’t attend local sporting events can watch live from any device. A percentage of each subscription purchased from goes back to Wake County Public Schools to help grow and enhance their athletic programs this year.

“Last year, WCPSS had over 19,000 student athletes compete in high school sports across our 24 high schools with athletic programs,” explained WCPSS District Athletic Director, Deran Coe. “We know that there are circumstances when family members and fans can't make it to a site for a live sporting event to enjoy the action. We are very excited to partner with National Amateur Sports and the NFHS Network to provide the opportunity for family members and fans of high school sports to support our student athletes and programs from anywhere in the world. Whether it is across town, across the country, or even overseas you can now watch all games played in WCPSS Athletics stadiums and gymnasiums on the NFHS Network.”

A subscription with Wake County Public Schools Athletics gives each member access to all indoor and outdoor live streaming cameras on the network including the twenty-four high schools within the district: Apex, Apex Friendship, Athens Drive, Broughton, Cary, East Wake, Enloe, Fuquay-Varina, Garner, Green Hope, Green Level, Heritage, Knightdale, Leesville Road, Middle Creek, Millbrook, Panther Creek, Rolesville, Sanderson, South Garner, Southeast Raleigh, Wakefield, and Wake Forest. In addition to all junior varsity and varsity games being live streamed the day of the event, they will also be available on demand for members to watch whenever and wherever they want including mobile devices.
