When the Millbrook JV Football team scores, they score in bunches. The Wildcats followed a 26-0 season opening win at Knightdale with a 35-6 win in their home opener vs. Fuquay Varina on Thursday night.
Sophomore, Kenny McCray who tossed for four TD's last week, would find success through not only the air, but the ground. McCray would rush for a touchdown and find Tyler Snead for the third time this season. Another Sophomore would shine vs. the Bengals as Chris Twitty ran for two TD's to close out the Wildcat offensive output.
Millbrook put up another six points on special teams as lightning fast defensive back, Shawntay Mills would take a Fuquay Varina punt back to the house. Mills and Freshman linebacker Decauri Stanley would help pace a strong defensive group that is now allowing an average of three points per game going into week three.
That Week 3 matchup will be at home vs. Northern Durham. Kickoff is slated for 6:30 at the Wildcat Stadium. For more information, follow Millbrook Football on Twitter at @MHSCatsFootball.
