Prior to Thursday night, no Millbrook baseball team had ever completed a perfect game. That's no longer the case.

Millbrook recorded not one, but two perfect games on Thursday night in a double-header against Southeast Raleigh.

In the first game, Brian Pearce struck out 11 batters and threw a perfect game en route to a 13-0 win in five innings. The Wildcats scored five runs in the second inning and eight runs in the fourth inning, posting 12 hits and no errors. Southeast Raleigh committed three errors.

Things weren't any better in the second game for the Bulldogs.

Coley Kilpatrick, Seth Werner, Andrew Rodts and Blake Whitmore combined for 14 strikeouts in the second half of the double-header as Millbrook posted a second perfect game with a 17-0 win.

Millbrook scored three runs in the second inning and seven runs in the third and fourth innings en route to the win. The Wildcats posted seven hits and no errors, while Southeast Raleigh was tagged with 10 errors.

Millbrook is now 5-0 on the season and 2-0 in Cap 7 Conference play. The Wildcats return to action on Tuesday with a road game at Enloe at 4:30 p.m.
