WCPSS Athletics Weekly Round Up

Week 10 of the WCPSS Football season has come and gone, and what a week it was! With the end of the season flying into view, Wake Forest and Enloe are still dominating their divisions. Competition is high as teams are looking to win one or two more games before playoffs! For a complete list of this weeks Football results, please read below.

Women's Golf

Many WCPSS women's golf programs competed at the 4A State Championships last week at Pinehurst Country Club (No. 3)! Congratulations to Green Hope who placed 3rd as a team and Maria Atwood from Holly Springs who finished T4 as an individual. It has been a great season for our women's golf programs, and we look forward to more progress and achievement next year. Women's Tennis

While many of our women's tennis programs are still competing in the 4A Dual Team Championships, others concluded the Individual Championships over the weekend. Congratulations to Sophia Gray and Anna Rico of Green Hope on their 4A Individual Doubles State Championship! Cross Country

WCPSS cross country programs competed in Regional competition over the weekend where many teams and individuals found great success! Those who qualified will compete in the State Championships on November 3rd. For more information about qualifying and race time, click here!
