Meredith Lindblom is from Charlotte, North Carolina, where she grew up swimming for SwimMac Carolina from the age of 6. After graduating from Providence Day School, she went on to swim all four years for Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania, where she earned her Bachelor in Arts in History and Spanish. At Gettysburg, Meredith helped lead her team in the Centennial Conferences with top-8 finishes in the 400 IM and 200 Backstroke.
Meredith's coaching career began in high school, and spanned throughout the summers of college, where she coached for several teams back in Charlotte, NC. She has worked with ages 4-18, and specialized in reinventing various dryland programs. In her spare time, she enjoys walking her labradoodle, running, and reading historical fictions. Meredith is thrilled to be joining the Falcons for the 2019-2020 swim season, and looks forward to continuing their excellence in the pool!
Jason Wolfe was born in Fort Rucker, Alabama. As a military brat, he lived in many places, but Eagle River, Alaska was by far the most memorable and where he began playing soccer at the age of six. He graduated from Pine Forest in Fayetteville, where he was a co-captain of the soccer team. He went on to play four years of collegiate soccer at Methodist University where he was a member of the 1995 National Finalist team (which was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2015), and was the recipient of the Coaches Award as a senior.
His coaching career began while in graduate school at ECU, as a classic soccer coach with the Pitt-Greenville Soccer Association. Since then, he has spent over 20 years coaching club soccer across the state at: Fayetteville Soccer Club, Triangle Futbol Club, Capital Area Soccer League, and now at North Carolina FC where in the club’s inaugural two seasons, he has led his girls’ teams to 3 Final Fours, 2 State Cup Titles, and a Regional Semifinal.
During that period, he was also the Varsity Women’s Soccer Coach at Seventy-First, William G. Enloe (Conference and Region Coach of the Year in 2005), and Panther Creek. Upon moving to the Triangle in 2004, he was the JV Women’s Soccer Coach at Green Hope, in a season that saw the ladies go undefeated and not concede a single goal all season. He is very happy to be a Falcon once again, and looks forward to the challenge of continuing the long tradition of excellence!
