Pine Hollow Football

Awards Banquet 11/16 @ 6:30

Week 8 @ Leesville Rd

PH played under the lights Wednesday night and fought hard.  In the end it wasn’t enough, but the coaches are proud of the way the Pilots played all season.  The defense had several sacks yesterday and caused two turnovers.  Sacking the qb was Sam Lawson, Ian Summers, Robbie Stewart, Aaron Mundra, Gabe Mann, and Gaige Baisden.  Ian Summers also get an interception.

The Pilots finish the season with a 3-3 conference record in only the 2nd year as a school! This is a great accomplishment for the Pine Hollow program to build on for next year!  Thank you to everyone that supported us all season, it has been a lot of fun, and one to remember!

Week 7 vs Dillard Drive

The football team played strong but lost to Dillard Thursday.  Several players made big plays for the team to build on for next week.  Ian Summers, Robbie Stewart, Aaron Mundra, Tony Tayler, and Cody Anderson all sacked the quarterback.  Wil Murray got an interception and also threw a long pass to Logan Bower.

Week 6 vs Wakefield

Week 3 @ Durant

The football team got their 2nd consecutive win yesterday as they defeated Durant in a thrilling overtime game.  Logan Bower threw two touchdown passes. The first TD pass was to Donnie Fredericks as he carried two defenders into the endzone for the first points of the game.  The second TD pass was thrown to Grady Whitt and it tied the game 14-14.

All tied up at the end of regulation, the game went to overtime.  On the second play of overtime, Aaron Mundra sacked the Durant QB causing a fumble that Noah Marino recovered.  The PH offense was unable to punch in the touchdown.  On 4th down Tyler Graham came in and kicked the game winning field goal to give the Pilots the win!  Tyler was also 2 for 2 on extra points on the game.

This was truly a team win.  Players, coaches, families, and friends all made this possible!  The team would like to thank everyone that came out and cheered the Pilots to victory!  #RiseUP

Week 2 vs Carroll

The Pilot football team made history yesterday by getting their first win!  They did it in dramatic fashion, but they beat Carroll 21-20.  Robbie Stewart caused a fumble as Carroll attempted a 2-point conversion that saved the game for PH.

Defensively, PH stopped the Cougars on 2 extra points, making the difference in the game.  Grady Whitt intercepted 2 Carroll passes.  His second interception put the icing on the cake for the Pilots.

Offensively, the Pilots O-line opened up big holes and DJ Scott took advantage by scoring 2 touchdowns.  Losing 7-8 with 30 seconds left in the half, PH marched 90 yards to score!  The scoring play was a long pass from Logan Bower to Grady Whitt as time expired.  The score gave the Pilots a 14-8 lead going into the halftime.  Tied 14-14 in the 4th quarter DJ scored his second touchdown of the game.  It was a 45 yard run that put the Pilots back in the lead.  Tyler Graham connected on all three of his extra point attempts to help give the Pilots a 1 point victory!

Shout out to the White team for setting the tone for the rest of the team by scoring 3 touchdowns and shutting the Cougars out during 5th quarter.  Scoring the touchdowns were Nathan Porter, Trevor Garrison, and Brandon Lape.

The team would like to thank the PH families and friends that came out for support.  This was a group win, and we couldn’t do it without everyone involved!

Come out and support the Pilots as they travel to Durant next week to take on the Dolphins.

9/21 PH vs Daniels

The Pilot Football team lost to a very good Daniels team yesterday, but the team made several good plays to build on for their next game.  Wil Murray got the offense moving with a couple of nice runs and a long catch from Logan Bower.  Donnie Fredricks ran for some tough yards to help set up the Pilots first touchdown of the year, scored by Logan Bower as he ran behind Cam Todd and Robbie Stewart.  Tyler Graham nailed the extra point to give Pine Hollow 7.  Defensively the Pilots caused two turnovers.  Ben Auerbach and Wil Murray both intercepted the Daniels QB.  Please come out and support the football team as they look to get their first win over Carroll next Thursday at home!

Thanks to everyone that came out to the game!

Go Pilots!
